SpiceJet Flight Status (September 2026): Gulf Route Updates

Last updated: Sep 4, 2026

SpiceJet is flying seven India to UAE routes, and its Madurai to Dubai service returns on 1 October 2026.

The UAE is SpiceJet’s only Gulf market. It does not currently serve Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman or Saudi Arabia.

SpiceJet Gulf routes operating now

From SpiceJet’s own published international schedule for September 2026.

Direct route Frequency
Delhi and Dubai Twice daily
Mumbai and Dubai Up to twice daily
Kochi and Dubai Daily out, six days a week back
Kozhikode and Dubai Six days a week
Pune and Dubai Daily
Jaipur and Dubai Daily
Amritsar and Dubai Daily
Kochi and Kozhikode to Fujairah Six days a week, its second UAE gateway

Madurai to Dubai returns on 1 October

The route was out of the schedule for months. SpiceJet has now filed it again: SG23 leaves Madurai at 12:20 and SG24 leaves Dubai at 05:00, daily from 1 October 2026 and on through the winter season. It is not flying before that date.

Two more routes start the same day: Ahmedabad to Dubai daily, and Ahmedabad to Sharjah five days a week.

Why your flight can still change

Short notice delays are still common on these routes. Several SpiceJet Dubai departures ran late in early September and one Dubai to Kochi service was cancelled on 3 September, so check your flight before leaving for the airport.

EASA advises the airlines it regulates to avoid the airspace over Gulf waters until 30 September 2026. SpiceJet is an Indian carrier and is not covered by that, so it is context rather than a suspension.

How to check your flight

Rebooking and refunds

If SpiceJet cancels or changes your flight, use its Change Assist portal to pick another flight or start a refund.

Its passenger rights page entitles you to an alternative flight or a refund on an airline cancellation. There is no special Gulf disruption waiver beyond that. If an agent issued your ticket, ask them. For the practical steps, see Wego’s SpiceJet flight cancellation guide.
