Emirates

Sri Lanka to Dubai flight ticket price & schedule

Emirates, one of the two flag carriers of the UAE operates every day flights from Sri Lanka to Dubai. 

Colombo to Dubai: 1 direct flight and 7 connecting flights every day. Ticket prices starting from LKR 206,986

Sri Lanka to Dubai flight time 

Direct flights between Dubai and Colombo takes upto 4 hours 15 minutes. However, connecting flights with long hours of transit could take you anywhere from 6 hours to 26 hours.

SriLankan Airlines

Sri Lanka to Dubai flight ticket price & schedule

Sri Lanka’s flag carrier, SriLankan Airlines has regular flights scheduled between Dubai and Sri Lanka. Here’s the latest flight schedule and airfares:

Colombo to Dubai: 1 direct flight every day. Ticket prices starting from LKR 148,912

Sri Lanka to Dubai flight time 

Direct fights between Dubai and Colombo operated by SriLankan Airlines are scheduled to take upto 4 hours 45 minutes.

Sri Lanka to Dubai entry requirements

Please note that all UAE residents from Sri Lanka can now travel to Dubai without ICA and GDRFA approval.

All Sri Lankan travellers must fulfil one of the below requirements:

  1. Present a valid vaccination certificate(s) reflecting that the passenger is fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the WHO or the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and includes a QR code
  2. Present a valid negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate issued within 48 hours after the sample was collected and issued by an approved health service provider with a QR code
  3. Present a valid medical certificate with a QR code issued by the relevant authorities that the passenger has recovered from COVID‑19 within 1 month from the date of recovery to the date of arrival

Exemptions:

UAE nationals arriving from all countries to Dubai are not required to present any PCR or vaccination certificate, however there will be random PCR testing on arrival in Dubai.

Testing requirements

Individuals can fly between the two countries but will be subject to the following measures:

  • Pre-departure testing: Unvaccinated arrivals from India will have to present a valid negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate issued within 48 hours from the time of sample collection and issued by an approved health service provider with a QR code.
  • Post-arrival testing: On entering Dubai, arrivals may be requested to undergo a PCR test on arrival in Dubai.

Quarantine requirements

All those who test positive for COVID-19 during their stay in the UAE must isolate themselves for 10 days.
