Emirates

The duration of direct flights is either 4.5 hours or 8 hours, with most connecting flights having long layovers in Male, Maldives.

  • Colombo – Dubai: at least two direct flights are available all days of the week, prices starting LKR 162,838.

SriLankan Airlines

The duration of direct flights is approximately 5 hours, with most connecting flights having short layovers in Kuwait.

Sri Lanka to Dubai entry requirements

Passengers travelling to Dubai from Sri Lanka are no longer required to present a COVID‑19 vaccination certificate or perform PCR tests. The UAE government does not require international arrivals to have been fully vaccinated for entry.
However, keep in mind that non- or partially-vaccinated travellers may be denied entry to public places in Dubai.

Quarantine requirements

Dubai has done away with mandatory quarantine for arriving passengers.

However, those who test positive for COVID-19 during their stay in the UAE must isolate themselves for 10 days.
