Running from 1 July to 5 August 2025 at Exhibition World Bahrain, Sakhir, this five-week event promises a fun-filled experience for children and families— all in a fully air-conditioned indoor venue.
While the full program has yet to be officially revealed, visitors can expect popular cartoon characters like Spacetoons. Last year’s edition featured beloved character appearances, interactive play zones, and live performances, so expectations are high for another memorable summer. Whether you’re traveling with kids or just looking to enjoy an indoor outing, the Toy Festival is a convenient and family-friendly option to add to your Bahrain itinerary.
Without a doubt, July belongs to the Toy Festival – so plan ahead for maximum family fun. Are there other events in July? The Toy Festival is so grand that it tends to overshadow everything else. August: Disney on Ice and a Cool Finale to Summer (12–17 August)
As temperature peaks, Bahrain’s summer season wraps up with a sprinkle of Disney magic and a lineup of indoor entertainment in August. The headline event is Disney On Ice: “Into the Magic”, making its Bahrain debut from 12 to 17 August 2025 at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir.
This dazzling ice-skating show brings Disney’s most beloved stories to life on ice, featuring fan-favorite characters like Moana, Cinderella, and many others. Titled “Into the Magic,” the production blends stunning costumes, hit songs, and captivating choreography in a spectacle of lights and set pieces.
It’s the kind of wholesome, multi-generational show that gives you goosebumps (and not just from the chilly rink!). Ticket prices start at BHD 8, so if you are in Bahrain mid-August, be sure to snag your seats early. Disney on Ice is likely to be the hottest (or should we say coolest?) ticket in town this summer.
Aside from Disney on Ice, August in Bahrain is a time when indoor attractions shine. The Toy Festival will conclude by early August, but worry not – the Kingdom offers plenty of other indoor fun to keep you entertained through the end of summer.
Beating the Heat: Indoor Activities for Summer Days
When it’s sizzling hot outside, Bahrain’s indoor attractions are your best bet. Here are some fantastic family-friendly (and air-conditioned!) activities to round out your summer itinerary:
Yabeela Bahrain
Located at Al Liwan in Hamala, Yabeela is Bahrain’s largest indoor family entertainment centre—and it truly lives up to the title. Packed with games, rides, and activities for all ages, it’s a top pick for families looking to spend a few fun-filled hours away from the heat.
With an on-site restaurant and a party hall, it’s also great for birthdays or group celebrations. Lively, safe, and connected to a mall for added convenience,Yabeela is a solid all-in-one choice for indoor fun.
Yabeela is open daily from late morning to late evening, with varying hours. It uses a pay-as-you-go card system with games and rides ranging from BHD 0.500 to BHD 3.5. Special deals like BHD 27 credit for BHD 22 are available.
Hawa Bahrain
Hawa is Bahrain’s first and largest indoor inflatable play center—a sprawling, multi-zone bounce park located inside Souq Al Baraha in Diyar Al Muharraq. Kids can jump, climb, and slide their way through a variety of obstacle courses in a safe, air-conditioned space.
It’s a perfect spot for younger children to play, while parents can relax nearby with shops and cafés just steps away. Open year-round, Hawa offers a fun and hassle-free indoor outing for families visiting with little ones.
Hawa is open daily from morning until late evening. Entry generally starts at BHD 4 per hour. Socks may be required for entry.
Matrix
Tucked inside Juffair Mall, Matrix is an all-ages indoor playground featuring arcade games, virtual sports, bowling lanes, and even mini rides. With food options, cozy spots to relax, and plenty to keep everyone entertained, it’s a great choice whether you’re letting the kids run wild or diving into the fun yourself. It’s a solid pick when you need a break from the sun.
Matrix is open daily from noon or earlier until late at night. Entry is free, and games/rides are paid via a card system. Budget BHD 5 to BHD 15 per person depending on activities.
Gravity Indoor Skydiving
Craving thrill without the desert heat? Head to Gravity in Zallaq, where you can experience the rush of skydiving—indoors. You’ll float inside a giant vertical wind tunnel, guided by expert instructors,in a safe yet high-adrenaline adventure open to anyone aged 4 and up. It’s seriously fun, totally unique, and one of those “you’ve got to try it” experiences while in Bahrain.
Gravity is open most days from midday until evening, with closures on Sundays and Mondays. First-time flyer packages start at BHD 19. You’ll get two flights, with the entire session—including gear rental and training—lasting about 90 minutes from arrival to finish.
