International flights have now resumed. Travellers should be prepared for unexpected travel restrictions to be put into effect with little or no advance notice.

Tanzania is implementing temperature screening for passengers on arrival. If you show symptoms of COVID-19 on arrival, you may undergo enhanced screening and be required to take a Covid test, followed by a possible 14-day self-isolation.

Kenyan airlines have reopened their airspace to Tanzania.
 

Lockdown Details

There are no restrictions on public gatherings or services. Some hotels, bars and restaurants remain closed for the time being. You should continue to practice measures recommended by PHE such as hand washing and social distancing.
