How restaurants can register
Restaurants can apply through the official Taste of Qatar registration portal. Qatar Tourism’s programme page links restaurants to the registration form and the downloadable programme guide.
Questions can be sent to [email protected]. The official programme manual lists that email for establishments, visitors, and stakeholders seeking more information about the Taste of Qatar programme.
How restaurants are assessed
Restaurants are evaluated through mystery dining visits by trained professionals. The official programme manual says evaluators visit as ordinary customers and assess areas such as culinary quality, customer service, ambiance, value, sustainability, and the overall visit.
Annual certification is based on cumulative assessment results. The official programme manual states that certifications are objective recognitions rather than awards, with score brackets of 60%-79%, 80%-89%, and 90%+ used for annual rating levels.
