UAE nationals can travel to Lebanon
UAE nationals are now permitted to travel to Lebanon as of Monday, June 29, 2026, according to the official MoFA announcement.
The decision lifts the previous restriction that had kept Emiratis from travelling to the country.
The change applies to UAE citizens specifically.
If you hold UAE nationality and want to fly from Dubai or Abu Dhabi to Lebanon, you can now do so once you meet the registration requirement below.
Tawajudi registration is mandatory
Registration on the Tawajudi service is compulsory before you travel, and it is the single most important step in this process.
UAE nationals will not be permitted to depart through the country’s exit points until registration is complete, per MoFA.
When you register, MoFA requires you to:
- Provide your place of residence in Lebanon: the address where you will be staying during your trip.
- Provide emergency contact details: so the Ministry can reach you or your contacts if needed.
- Notify the Ministry on your return: let MoFA know through the service once you are back in the UAE.
- Update your information if anything changes: keep your details current throughout your trip.
