The UAE is providing normal air traffic services. Its current aviation publications show the country’s airspace system remains active.

Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Zayed International Airport (AUH) are handling flights. Check the airport and airline status pages because individual services may be delayed, diverted or cancelled.

Nearby airspace restrictions can still force airlines to change routes. This may lengthen journeys or disrupt connections even when UAE airports remain open.

Government travel advice remains cautious:

Emirates (EK)

Operating an extensive network from Dubai

Emirates is flying from Dubai. Its published Dubai–Riyadh schedule lists 21 weekly services, including EK815 at 01:10, EK819 at 06:50 and EK817 at 16:45 from Dubai, in local time. This is timetable information; individual flights remain subject to change.

Check your flight status and contact details before travel. If Emirates disrupts your journey, it will first try to place you on the next available Emirates flight.

Etihad Airways (EY)

Operating from Abu Dhabi

Etihad is operating from Zayed International Airport, with Saudi flight options including Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. Individual flights remain subject to route-specific delays or cancellations.

If Etihad cancels your flight, it will email you with available options. Keep your contact details updated and use Manage My Booking for alternative flights.

flydubai (FZ)

Operating a reduced schedule from Dubai

flydubai says it is operating across its network with a reduced schedule. Some routes are taking longer because flights must avoid restricted airspace.

Check in online, keep your contact details updated and confirm the flight before leaving. flydubai currently advises passengers departing DXB to arrive four hours before departure.

Air Arabia (G9)

Operating from Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah

Air Arabia is selling flights from its UAE hubs, including Sharjah to London Gatwick. Check your booking for any route-specific change.

Qatar Airways (QR)

Operating daily services to Dubai and Sharjah

Qatar Airways is operating daily Doha services to Dubai and Sharjah. Its wider schedule remains subject to change for operational, regulatory or safety reasons.

Tickets issued by 15 May for travel from 28 February to 15 September 2026 may qualify for a date change up to 31 October. Different rules apply to tickets issued later.

IndiGo (6E)

Operating between India and the UAE

IndiGo is offering UAE flights from India, including options for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Confirm your flight on the IndiGo website or app before travelling.

Airlines With Suspended UAE Flights

British Airways (BA)	Some Dubai and Abu Dhabi flights are cancelled or temporarily suspended.	Check Manage My Booking. Eligible bookings may be changed or refunded under BA’s Middle East policy.
Lufthansa Group	Dubai flights remain suspended through 24 October 2026. Announced returns are Lufthansa Munich five times weekly from 25 October and Frankfurt up to five times weekly from 26 October; SWISS Zurich daily from 27 October; Eurowings Berlin daily and Stuttgart four times weekly from 1 November, and Cologne/Bonn three times weekly from 3 November; and Austrian Vienna five times weekly from 12 December. These are announced future services and remain subject to change.	Affected passengers are being offered flexible rebooking or a full refund.
Air France (AF)	Air France resumed Dubai flights on 26 August, suspended them again from 3 September and continued cancellations through 10 September. Its current official alert suspends Dubai flights through 15 September 2026 inclusive.	Check your booking. Affected customers can use Air France’s rebooking, voucher or refund options.
Air Canada (AC)	Dubai flights are cancelled until mid-January 2027.	Affected passengers can review rebooking or refund options on Air Canada’s travel-update page.

Other airlines may change UAE services at short notice. Confirm the status of each flight on the operating airline’s website before booking or leaving for the airport.

Air India Express is selling flights between India and Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain. Availability varies by route and date, so check the operating airline before travel.
