US To Aruba Travel Restrictions, Flights News & Travel Ban In 2021 – Advisory & Requirements

Most travelers are allowed to enter Aruba. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.

Quarantine may be required

Quarantine may be required
All travelers aged 12 years and older not showing documentation indicating a negative Molecular COVID-19 test result prior to travel to Aruba as a part of the ED card process will be required to take a molecular COVID-19 PCR test at the airport when arriving in Aruba. The molecular COVID-19 PCR test will be followed by a mandatory quarantine at the traveler’s booked accommodations while test results are assessed. This will take up to 24 hours.

COVID-19 test required

COVID-19 testing on arrival may be required
Travelers arriving without a negative COVID-19 test must take a test on arrival in Aruba. Travelers must quarantine until the results are in, which can take up to 24 hours.

Masks are required

Masks are mandatory in indoor public places
All travelers are required to wear masks in indoor public places.

Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers under the age of 12.

Required Documents for your Trip

Mandatory travel declaration form
All travelers, including children, are required to complete the online travel declaration form and be approved, in order to be allowed to enter Aruba. This must be completed a maximum of 72 hours and 4 hours prior to travel to Aruba.

This is not required for transit passengers.

Details and Exemptions:There are 5 components to the process:
1. Basic traveler information;
2. Personal health assessment (must be completed a maximum of 72 hours before arrival and 4 hours prior to travel to Aruba);
3. Negative PCR test a maximum of 72 hours before arrival or PCR test upon arrival at the airport;
4. Purchase Aruba Visitors Insurance;
5. Consent to Aruba government mandates.

Mandatory Aruba Visitors Insurance
All travelers are required to purchase the Aruba Visitors Insurance. This purchase must be completed a maximum of 3 days, and 4 hours prior to travel to Aruba.

Visitors can buy or use their own travel or health insurance to supplement the Aruba Visitors Insurance, but not to replace it.

Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers arriving and leaving from Aruba the same day.

Proof of negative COVID-19 test results or COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers are required to have a negative COVID-19 molecular (RT-PCR, PCR, NAAT, AMP PRB, LAMP, or TMA) test result in English, Dutch, or Spanish. The test must be a maximum of 3 days before departure of the last leg of the trip to Aruba. Travelers must upload their test, no later than 12 hours before departure, in their travel form.

Travelers arriving without a valid COVID-19 test result are required to take a COVID-19 test on arrival at the airport and quarantine until the results are in.

Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Transit passengers;
-Travelers under the age of 12;
-Asymptomatic travelers who have tested positive using a molecular COVID-19 test by nasopharyngeal swab between 2 weeks and 12 weeks prior to their travel date to Aruba.
