US To Bermuda Travel Restrictions, Flights News & Travel Ban In 2021 – Advisory & Requirements

Bermuda: Open for Travel

Travel is allowed with restrictions
International travelers are allowed to enter Bermuda.

Both visitors and residents are required to apply for a Travel Authorization 1 to 3 days before arrival in Bermuda.

Quarantine is required

Mandatory quarantine and testing for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers (who arrive with a pre-travel test) are required to quarantine at their accommodation until they receive negative results from a COVID-19 test taken upon arrival.

All vaccinated travelers are required to take tests on days 4 and 10.

Details and Exemptions:Travelers are considered fully vaccinated if they have received the appropriate number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine (e.g. 2 doses for the Pfizer vaccine), and at least 2 weeks have passed since the last dose.

Vaccinated travelers who arrive without a valid negative COVID-19 test result, or refuse to take a COVID-19 test on arrival, or refuse to wear a monitoring bracelet, are required to quarantine for 4 days until receipt of a negative COVID-19 test result on day 4.

All vaccinated travelers will be given a red wristband upon arrival. Travelers who arrived with proof of negative COVID-19 test result must wear it until receiving the negative test on arrival. Travelers without proof of negative COVID-19 test result must wear it until receiving the negative day 4 test.
All unvaccinated children traveling with a vaccinated parent or guardian will be given a red wristband upon arrival, which must be worn until receiving their negative day 4 test result.

COVID-19 test required

Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers must take a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival in Bermuda.

-Travelers under the age of 2.

Masks are required

Masks are mandatory in public
Travelers must wear masks in public places where a physical distance of 6 feet can not be maintained, during their flights, and on public transport.

Required Documents for your Trip

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Fully vaccinated travelers must bring proof of vaccination or may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.

Travelers are considered fully vaccinated if they have received the appropriate number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine (e.g. 2 doses for the Pfizer vaccine), and at least 2 weeks have passed since the last dose.

Please note that mixing doses is acceptable if authorized by the governing body of the country of travel.

Details and Exemptions:Vaccines accepted are Pfizer BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Serum Institute of India, Jansen/Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinopharm, and Sinovac and are approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), European Medicines Agency, Health Canada, or World Health Organisation (WHO).

Mandatory travel authorization form
All travelers, including residents, are required to complete the Bermuda Travel Authorization 1 to 3 days before arrival. Travelers must upload their pre-arrival test results and vaccination certificates to their application.

Proof of negative COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR (RT-PCR or rapid PCR) test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 4 days before arrival in Bermuda.

Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers under the age of 2;
-Travelers with an exemption granted by the Ministry of Health;
-Residents of Bermuda.
