Cayman Islands: Open for Travel
Travel is allowed for vaccinated travelers
Vaccinated travelers are allowed to enter the Cayman Islands.
Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Details and Exemptions:Travelers allowed entry are:
-Caymanians;
-Persons who are legally resident in the Cayman Islands, including permanent residents and work permit holders and their families;
-Children of Caymanians and residents, who are traveling with that Caymanian or resident;
-Travelers aged 12 years and older and have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine.

7 days quarantine
Mandatory 7-day quarantine for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers must quarantine for 7 days and take a test on day 8 to be released.
Travelers may not leave the Cayman Islands until the mandatory period in quarantine has been completed.
Details and Exemptions:Travelers are required to present a “Secure verification” record, which is is a vaccination record with security features such as a QR code to qualify for reduced quarantine. The certificate can be both digital or on paper.
Travelers whose vaccination record is not considered to be securely verifiable will have to complete a 10-day quarantine with a day 11 exit COVID-19 PCR test.

COVID-19 test required
Proof of negative COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a printed or electronic negative COVID-19 PCR (swab from upper airway) test result. The test must be taken at an accredited laboratory a maximum of 72 hours before departure to the Cayman Islands.
Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers under the age of 5.

Masks are required
Masks are mandatory in public
Travelers are required to wear masks in public spaces, including airports, educational institutions, and public transport.

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Fully vaccinated travelers must provide proof that they have completed a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 at least 14 days before boarding. Travelers are required to present a “Secure verification” record, which is is a vaccination record with security features such as a QR code.
Travelers that have received a combination of two different vaccines may still be considered fully vaccinated. Please check the link for more information on accepted vaccine combinations.
Details and Exemptions:Travelers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days before arrival to the Cayman Islands with one of the listed vaccines: Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson, SK Bio Version, Covidshield (Serum Institute of India).

Mandatory travel insurance
Travelers are required to provide proof of health insurance with COVID-19 coverage or attest that they understand the financial risks they are taking and that they have independent means to cover any medical and accommodation and travel costs.
