COVID-19 test not required
No proof of negative COVID-19 test results for vaccinated travelers
Travelers who are fully vaccinated arriving from selected countries are not required to present a negative COVID-19 test before arrival in Finland.
Travelers coming from a few municipalities in Norway are exempted from having a negative test result before traveling to Finland, regardless of their vaccination status. For more details, please check the source.

Masks are not required
Masks are recommended in some situations
Travelers are required to wear masks on public transportation and in airports, where close contact cannot be avoided.

Required Documents for your Trip
Mandatory proof of vaccination
Travelers who are fully vaccinated must present a vaccination certificate for one of the approved Coronavirus vaccines from this list, Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty, Moderna, Astra Zeneca Vaxzervia, Janssen, BIBP Sinopharm, Covidshield Serum Institute of India, and CoronaVac Sinovac. The certificate must be in a suitable language, such as Finnish, Swedish, or English. Travelers need to have received the last vaccination dose at least 7 days before the travel date. Travelers must have received all the required doses of one of the vaccines listed above to be considered fully vaccinated.

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.
Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers who are born in 2006 and later.
-Citizens and permanent residents of EU and Schengen countries, provided they have proof of COVID-19 virus recovery from less than 6 months before arrival.
