Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to have proof of a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to France.

Masks are required

Masks are mandatory in closed public places
Travelers must wear masks in enclosed public places and on public transport.

-Travelers under the age of 11.

Required Documents for your Trip

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Fully vaccinated travelers must have proof of vaccination to enter France.

Only vaccines authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) are accepted. These are Pfizer (Comirnaty), Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), AstraZeneca (Covishield), or Johnson & Johnson (Janssen).

French authorities also accept the following vaccine combinations: AstraZeneca/Pfizer Cominarty – AstraZeneca/Moderna and Pfizer/Moderna.

Fully vaccinated travelers are:
-7 days after the last shot for 2-shot vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxevria and Covishield));
-4 weeks after receiving a 1-shot vaccine (Johnson & Johnson);
-7 days after the shot for vaccines administered to travelers who have already had COVID-19 (only one dose is necessary);
-7 days after a booster mRNA dose (Moderna or Pfizer) after 2 shots of a vaccine on the WHO’s health emergencies list (Sinovac/Coronavac or Sinopharm/BBIB-PVeroCells).

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.

Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers under the age of 12.

Mandatory health declaration form for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers arriving from selected countries considered amber list countries are required to fill a health declaration form before traveling to France.

Mandatory health pass for public activity
Travelers over the age of 17 will require a health pass to cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, hospitals, retirement homes, medico-social establishments, places of leisure and culture, to travel by plane, train, and coach for long-distance journeys.

The health pass consists of digital (via TousAntiCovid app) or paper proof of one of the following:
-Proof of vaccination. Travelers with foreign vaccination certificates may upload their certificate in advance in the French COVID certificate platform (please check “see instructions” for more details);
-Proof of a negative test a maximum of the last 72 hours. Foreign nationals must take a test in France, which will generate a temporary QR code valid for 72 hours;
-Recovery from COVID-19 dated at least 11 days ago in the previous 6 months.
