COVID-19 test required

COVID-19 testing on arrival may be required
Travelers arriving with a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken more than 72 hours before their arrival will be required to undergo a test on arrival in Guyana.

-Travelers under the age of 2.

Required Documents for your Trip

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Travelers must have proof of vaccination, showing their name, the name of their vaccine, the date the doses were given, and the batch number from an accredited health facility. Travelers are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the last vaccination was received.

The vaccines currently accepted include AstraZeneca, Sputnik V-Gam, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson. Proof of vaccination must be in English or with a certified translation.

Travelers who have recovered from COVID-19 14 days to 3 months before travel are considered fully vaccinated if they can provide a ‘Certificate of Clearance’ from a certified medical practitioner.

Travelers that have received a combination of two different vaccines may still be considered fully vaccinated. Please check the link for more information on accepted vaccine combinations.

Details and Exemptions:The requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers under the age of 12.

Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival to avoid on arrival testing.
