Mandatory stay in a designated area
Travelers are required to stay in a hotel or resort in a designated area (resilient corridor) for the length of their stay. Travelers suspected of being exposed to COVID-19 will be required to stay on the hotel or resort grounds for their stay in Jamaica. Travelers who do not stay in a resilient corridor must quarantine for 14 days on arrival.
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to quarantine until they receive negative results from a COVID-19 test carried out on arrival in Jamaica.
Unvaccinated, or not fully vaccinated travelers are required to quarantine at home for 14 days.
Details and Exemptions:The resilient corridors are comprised of 2 areas in Jamaica. The first is a northern segment stretching from Negril in Westmoreland across the northern coastline to Port Antonio in Portland. The second is a south coast segment running from Milk River in Clarendon westward to Negril in Westmoreland. COVID-19 test required
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers may be required to be tested for COVID-19 on arrival if they present symptoms. If tested, travelers must wait in their hotel room for the results.
Details and Exemptions:Business travelers from declared high-risk areas need to take a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival and quarantine in their hotel or private home until they receive a negative test result.

Other Things to Take Note Of
Health screening on arrival
All travelers will be screened via thermal temperature checks and symptom observation. If a traveler’s temperature is elevated, the visitor will be subject to additional screening, including testing if needed. Any visitor who exhibits symptoms or is ill will be subject to quarantine.
Details and Exemptions:Tourists will be subject to testing if they are assessed as high risk as a result of coming from countries designated as high risk for COVID-19 transmission.

Required Documents for your Trip
Mandatory travel authorization form
All travelers including Jamaican citizens and residents are required to complete a travel authorization form online a maximum of the 7 day period before departure to Jamaica.
Details and Exemptions:A Travel Authorization is not required to book the flight. It is a requirement for check-in and boarding and the airlines will not allow passengers to board without it.
Each traveler must have their own form (including minors and infants). Travelers may also apply for other family members’ Travel Authorization but must indicate that they are applying for “Someone Else” at the appropriate stage in the application process.

Proof of negative COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR, antigen, molecular, or nucleic acid test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 3 days before departure.
Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers under the age of 12.
Only results from oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal samples are accepted for PCR tests. Only results from nasopharyngeal samples will be accepted for Antigen tests.
