COVID-19 test required on day 5 for vaccinated Maldivians and work permit holders
All vaccinated Maldivians and work permit holders and accompanied children are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test at most 5 to 7 days after arrival in the Maldives.

Required Documents for your Trip

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Vaccinated travelers must have a vaccination certificate showing they completed
the recommended doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the WHO Emergency Use Listing or by the Maldives Food and Drug Authority and at least 14 days have passed after the recommended doses.

Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.

Details and Exemptions:The United Kingdom’s proof of a COVID-19 recovery test and vaccination record is also accepted in the Maldives.

Mandatory health declaration form before arrival
Travelers are required to complete an online health declaration form a maximum of 24 hours before departure to the Maldives through the IMUGA portal.

Details and Exemptions:The negative COVID-19 PCR test result, taken a maximum of 96 hours before departure, or vaccination proof, should be submitted through the IMUGA portal.

Travelers are required to show that they have a confirmed booking at a registered tourist facility and a confirmed return ticket.
