COVID-19 test required
Proof of negative COVID-19 test results
All travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR swab test result (Gene Expert, True NAAT, or WHO accredited tests). The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers under the age of 5;
-travelers with emergency situations, who can travel without a test result but must quarantine on arrival in Nepal.

Travellers must wear masks in public places, outdoors, and on public transportation.

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Fully vaccinated travelers must have received all the COVID-19 vaccine doses required at least 14 days before traveling to Nepal.
Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers under the age of 5;
-Travelers between 5-18 years without COVID-19 vaccination must follow procedures for unvaccinated travelers.
