Most international travelers are allowed to enter Nicaragua. Some international commercial flights have resumed. Please check quarantine and/or testing requirements before traveling.

The Nicaraguan government has not officially imposed any quarantine policies. Travelers are subject to contact tracing by the Health Authorities for 14 days and must not have respiratory symptoms.

COVID-19 test required
Proof of negative COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have an original negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival in Nicaragua.
Details and Exemptions:The Government of Nicaragua requires airlines to submit the COVID-19 test results and passport copies of all passengers 36 hours before the flight to Nicaragua. Please contact the airline to find out further details.
