Philippines: Closed for Travel

Entry restricted for international travelers
Most travelers coming from selected countries are not allowed to enter the Philippines.

Details and Exemptions:Entry restrictions do not apply to:
-Filipino citizens, including those with an Identification Certificate (IC);
-Travelers with valid and existing visas at the time of entry;
-Travelers under the Balikbayan Program (RA6768), provided they are nationals from non-visa required countries under EO408: Former Filipino citizens, their spouses, and children of any age traveling with them, or Filipino citizens’ spouses and children, regardless of age, who are traveling with them;
-Travelers with valid and existing Special Resident and Retirees Visa (SRRV).

10 days quarantine

Mandatory quarantine and testing for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to take facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result, taken on the 5th day. After that travelers are required to take home quarantine until their 10th day, with the day of arrival being the first day. Travelers must secure their own pre-booked accommodation of at least 6 days.

Details and Exemptions:Filipino citizens are not required to secure hotel reservations.

COVID-19 test not required

No proof of a negative COVID-19 test required
Travelers are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test before departure to the Philippines.

Travellers must wear masks and face shields in public places.

Required Documents for your Trip

Mandatory accommodation booking for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers arriving from selected countries must have proof of pre-booked accommodation for at least 6 days in an accredited quarantine hotel/facility before traveling to the Philippines.

Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
– Filipino citizens.

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Vaccinated travelers must have received all vaccine doses required at least 2 weeks before travel.
Travelers must have a vaccination certificate that can be verified by Philippine authorities as valid or authentic. Vaccines accepted are those in the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) List or Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) issued by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration and vaccines in the Emergency Use Listing of the World Health Organization.

Travelers who were vaccinated in the Philippines can have an LGU/ hospital-issued vaccination card or certificate, or a BOQ-issued International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICV).

All travelers, including children, are required to register to the Bureau of Quarantine e-Health Declaration Card (e-HDC) up to 24 hours before their departure to the Philippines.
