Singapore: Open for Travel

Unrestricted travel is allowed for vaccinated travellers

There are no quarantine or COVID-19 testing measures for fully vaccinated travellers and travellers aged 12 and below. However, you must comply with the latest public health measures.

Travel is allowed for vaccinated travellers, but with restrictions

Generally, non-fully vaccinated long term pass holders and short-term visitors are not allowed to enter Singapore unless in exceptional circumstances. There are testing and quarantine restrictions.

Quarantine is required only for unvaccinated travellers

Mandatory 7-day Stay Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival only for unvaccinated travellers. 

During this period, unvaccinated travellers will remain in your declared SHN accommodation for the full 7 days.

COVID-19 test required only for unvaccinated travellers

Mandatory RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen COVID-19 test within 2 days before departure only for unvaccinated travellers. 
The test result must include:

  1. Traveller’s name, and Date of Birth or Passport number (per the passport used to travel to Singapore); and
  2. Reflects the date and result of the COVID-19 test.

Masks are required

Mask-wearing will continue to be required in indoor settings when people leave their homes, including on public transport, but will remain optional in outdoor settings.

Examples of indoor places: Office buildings, shopping malls, public transport (i.e. when commuting on trains and buses), hawker centres and coffee shops.
Examples of outdoor areas: Housing Development Board (HDB) void decks, retail block walkways, bus stops, and bus interchanges.

Required Documents for your Trip

Vaccinated travellers should:

  • Prepare Proof of Vaccination
  • Obtain additional entry documents (if required) such as visa
  • Have passport with at leats 6 months validity
  • Complete your SG Arrival Card (SGAC) up to 3 days before your arrival in Singapore.

Non-vaccinated travellers will require:

All unvaccinated travellers entering the country must have obtained entry approval. Entry approval is not required if you are a:
  1. Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  2. Long-Term Pass holder, including In-Principle Approval holders, born between 2005 and 2010 (inclusive), and arriving before 1 July 2022 only. Entries from 1 Jul 2022 will require entry approvals.

In addition, travellers must:

  • Obtain additional entry documents (if required) such as visa
  • Have passport with at leats 6 months validity
  • Complete your SG Arrival Card (SGAC) up to 3 days before your arrival in Singapore.
