COVID-19 test required

Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival for partially vaccinated travelers
Partially vaccinated travelers are required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on arrival.

At the end of the quarantine period, travelers will be required to take another COVID-19 PCR test. Once the result is negative, they will be able to move within the territory, without limitation.

-Travelers under the age of 5.

Required Documents for your Trip

Mandatory pre-registration form for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers must pre-register for a COVID-19 rapid antigen test via the Hummingbird portal before traveling to the British Virgin Islands.

Mandatory booking confirmation for partially vaccinated travelers
Partially vaccinated travelers are required to have proof of their booking at an approved accommodation. Travelers will need to upload their booking confirmation into their travel authorization form.

Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers who are fully vaccinated.

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Fully vaccinated travelers must carry proof that their final dose was administered at least 14 days before travel. Travelers must be vaccinated with a World Health Organization-approved vaccine.

Partially vaccinated are also required to carry proof of their vaccination.

Details and Exemptions:Residents of England can use their NHS Covid Pass or NHS letter as proof of vaccine status.

Proof of negative COVID-19 test results for vaccinated travelers
Vaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR or an approved rapid antigen test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 5 days before arrival in the British Virgin Islands.

Most travelers are required to have valid health insurance during their whole stay that includes COVID-19 coverage.

Optional Documents for your Trip

Mandatory Home Quarantine Assessment form may be required for partially vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers
Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated travelers are required to obtain the requisite approval from the Environmental Health Division if the expectation is to quarantine in a private residence, hotel, or vessel. Travelers must apply for approval 5-7 days before travel.

Details and Exemptions:This requirement applies to:
-Travelers who are unvaccinated;
-Travelers who are partially vaccinated;
-Travelers who are traveling with other unvaccinated travelers aged 18 years and older;
-Travelers who are traveling with other partially vaccinated travelers aged 18 years and older;
-Unaccompanied minors aged 17 years and under.
