Can Indians visit Uzbekistan visa-free now?
Not yet. The 30-day visa-free rule was announced on 30 August 2026 but is not law. Indians still need an Uzbek e-visa from e-visa.gov.uz until a decree is published.
How long is the visa-free stay?
Up to 30 days, per the announcement. Conditions will be confirmed in the decree.
Is there a nonstop from India?
Yes, Delhi to Tashkent, about three hours, on Uzbekistan Airways and Centrum Air. No other Indian city has one; the rest connect, mostly via Sharjah.
Which city is cheapest to fly from?
On the mid-October 2026 week sampled, Ahmedabad was lowest at ₹36,711 with one stop, just under the Delhi nonstop. Fares move, so check live.
