When the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar kicks off on 20 November 2022, football fever will sweep not only the host country but the entire world, including Dubai. There are numerous “Fan Zones” or screening locations put up all across Dubai so that people can witness the football craze firsthand.

Dubai World Cup Fan Zones

Whether you like a Michelin-star lunch or mince pie with mulled wine, you can support your country while also indulging in an exciting array of entertainment, cuisine, and drinks in a buzzing environment. Dubai World Cup Fan Zone list

Belgian cafe Dubai Festival City

The Football Deck by Belgian Café in Dubai Festival City will be the best place to watch all the World Cup action live. Supporters can choose to indulge in premium pub fare or hop buckets as HD TVs broadcast the games everywhere. You can also pick the specialized fan area located on Crowne Plaza’s outside terrace with views of the stream and the city beyond. For the more passionate fans, there will be a painting station available too.

DIFC

At the Podium level of Gate Avenue, DIFC has launched The Football Park, which appears to be an upscale variation of the regular fan zones in Dubai. There will be a la carte food, premium drinks, chauffeur service and even the opportunity to mingle with famous people or ex-football players.

In addition, the Football Park in the DIFC will offer free outdoor screenings, plus tables starting from Dh350, redeemable against food and drinks.

The vibrant pop-up will be present from 20 November 2022 to 18 December 2022 throughout the World Cup. You can currently express interest in purchasing tickets for the Football Park by sending an email to [email protected]. Tickets have been on sale since 15 September 2022.

Dubai Harbour

The BudX-sponsored FIFA Fan Festival in Dubai will take place at Dubai Harbour and have the city’s shoreline as its backdrop. There will also be performances by international DJs, regional musicians and FIFA veterans, and certain events will feature 4D audio.

The opening hours for Dubai Harbour will be:

Dubai Silicon Oasis

This one will be a family-friendly fan zone with two giant screens, a stage for entertainment, and a game zone with a football jumble. In addition to its neighbourhood favourite, OUI Bar + Terrace, it will also feature a pop-up outside that will screen all the games and provide drink specials, happy hours and a game-time menu.

Dubai Marina

A FIFA Pop Up fan zone will be held at Address Dubai Marina. There will be a minimum fee of Dhs150 per participant for the semifinals, finals, and quarterfinals.

Zero Gravity

Providing an outstanding view of Dubai Marina and the Arabian Gulf and offering free entry for football fans above the age of 21, the Zero Gravity is all set to put up a fantastic fan zone at the beach, with a massive screen premiering all football matches from 20 November to 18 December.

Cheer for your favourite team while the guest DJs spin top tunes to keep the vibe upbeat.

Dubai Media City

At Dubai Media City, a fan zone by McGettigan’s will take over the Amphitheater (where Red Fest and Jazz Fest were set up in February). There will also be a Winterfest featuring roller skating, a Christmas tree, and Santa’s grotto. This fan zone will have space to accommodate up to 5,000 spectators, including the lawn area in front of the main stage with a huge screen. One of the best World Cup fan zones in Dubai, this one is already the talk of the town.

It will open on 20 November until the World Cup Final on 18 December 2022. The opening hours will be from 12 PM to 1 AM.

Dubai Sport City

The ISD Fan Zone is an outdoor location in Dubai Sports City that will provide a massive fan zone experience for 5,000 spectators. The location will include a number of screens, food trucks, and pubs. If you want a VIP experience, you can reserve a table in the VIP section, which offers butler service and exquisite food. The entry ticket is AED 75.

It will open on 20 November until the World Cup Final on 18 December 2022.

Soul Beach, Jebel Ali

A perfect combination of good music and tasty bites, JA Jebel Ali Beach Hotel’s vibrant Soul Beach fan zone is all set to put up live football broadcasts for football fans from 20 November to 18 December.

With massive screens placed all around the venue, including by the pool, the fans are guaranteed a good view no matter where they settle. Moreover, they also have the chance to win big by participating in raffles and competitions throughout the tournament. Tickets for general beach access start from AED 300.

Press Play

Featuring a giant 250sqm screen that will broadcast all 63 games, along with plenty of delicious food options, the multimedia platform Press Play is taking over the state-of-the-art facility at Ibn Batuta Mall’s Precision Football and transforming it into a massive fan zone. The platform can accommodate up to 3,500 guests.

Moreover, visitors will also be able to enjoy 14 live performances by British grime artists Lethal Bizzle and JME on 25 November 2022 and drum and bass band Rudimental on 29 November 2022. The upcoming lineup will be updated as and when released by the officials.

It will open on 20 November until the World Cup Final on 18 December 2022.

Hilton Dubai, Jumeirah

The family-friendly waterside spot, the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, will be setting up its mega fan zone for FIFA World Cup 2022. With a capacity to accommodate over 1,000 guests, the fan zone will be divided into four areas, including the Beach Stadium, Tiger Bar, the Wavebreak Deck and the Garden.

Football fans will have the opportunity to catch live football streaming on massive screens while being lounged on plush sun beds at The Beach, a stadium-style atmosphere at the Garden and the lip-smacking BBQ delights at the Wavebreak Deck. Although it offers free entry, a prior reservation will be required for entry into this fan zone.

It will open on 20 November until the World Cup Final on 18 December 2022.

Address Beach Resort, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR)

As the FIFA World Cup 2022 kicks off, Address Beach Resort has confirmed plans for its Football Fan Zone Tent. With multiple screens and flag-themed decorations, this air-conditioned 250-seater tent is surrounded by greenery and is just a short walk from Jumeirah Beach and Bluewaters Island.

Expo City Dubai

The World Cup fan zone at Expo City, which coincides with Expo’s joyous Winter City, will provide a tumultuous atmosphere complete with jumbo screens and an impressive lineup of entertainment, including tabletop games, agility courses, foot volley courts, penalty kick activations, face painting, and DJs spinning decks during halftime. Children under 12 are admitted free, and there are VIP options available. The general entrance is Dhs30.

Expo City Dubai welcomes football fans of all ages to two unique zones.

Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park will open on November 20 when the matches start. The venue will accommodate 10,000 spectators once it opens on Sunday, 20 November, and include a Budweiser tent, a shisha club, and gigantic television screens.

On weekdays, Jubilee Park is open from 5 PM to 1.30 AM, and on weekends, it’s open from noon to 1.30 AM

Al Wasl Plaza

Al Wasl Plaza will open on December 3, when it is the first round of knockout stages. From that day, starting with the second round of matches, fans can take part in a VIP guest experience at Al Wasl Plaza with an immersive projection show. The matches will be aired live on four huge screens, with in-game graphics also being projected onto the Al Wasl dome’s expansive canvas.

Al Wasl Plaza will offer an immersive game experience with in-game graphics projected across the Al Wasl dome, as well as team anthems, a flag-raising ceremony, and pre-and post-game entertainment.

Furthermore, Al Wasl offers public admission, VIP hospitality packages, and VVIP box seats for up to 2,500 guests. A complimentary one-day Expo City Dubai Attraction Pass, valid until 31 December, will also be given to hospitality visitors.

Jumeirah Emirates Tower Arena

This outdoor stadium, which will include up to 500 football fans per night, will have a stunning backdrop provided by the Museum of the Future, as well as enormous screens, exclusive VIP lounges, and delectable food. At this brand-new fan zone in the centre of Downtown, football enthusiasts of all ages can see the opening kickoff from 20 November until 18 December 2022. Emirates Towers Arena, which is housed on the Plaza Terrace’s ground floor, will provide a more upscale football experience, but the level of team spirit will remain unmatched.

To keep themselves energized until the final whistle, spectators can choose from a delectable menu of different cuisines and signature dishes during the game.

Soho Garden

From 21 November to 18 December 2022, the Mega Fan Zone at Soho Garden in Meydan will be open and equipped with giant screens so that devoted supporters can watch every thrilling moment of the games.

The licensed location, which can accommodate up to 3,000 people, promises a wide variety of contests, entertainment, live performances, games, and DJs. From private VIP booths or picnic tables, watch every goal and tackle on the large screens till the final horn!

Palm Jumeirah

To provide World Cup fans with football entertainment, ITP Live has teamed up with Social Distrikt on the Palm. There is something for everyone at this Palm Jumeirah hotspot, with eight restaurants and two bars available and an arts and crafts area specially designed for kids.
