Colombia won the group on seven points, finishing unbeaten after a goalless draw with Portugal sealed top spot. Portugal took second on five points, helped by their 5–0 rout of Uzbekistan, and advance alongside the group winners.
DR Congo finished third on four points after beating Uzbekistan 3–1, and went through as one of the eight best third-placed teams. Uzbekistan were eliminated, losing all three of their matches.
