Passengers must have negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Libya. The test result must have a QR code.
– This does not apply to passengers younger than 6 years.

Libya’s land and sea borders are closed to all except essential traffic.
A COVID-19 PCR test administered no more than 72 hours prior to travel is required.
The Ministry of Health has multiple designated quarantine sites where individuals can be held in quarantine for 14 days.
Libyan authorities are carrying out enhanced temperature screenings of passengers arriving at air, land, and sea ports of entry.
Travelers should be prepared for new quarantine restrictions to be put into effect with little to no advanced notice.

The Libyan government has lifted all curfews that had previously been in place.
Face masks are required in all public spaces, to include all forms of public transportation.
