Wego reports confirm that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Minister of State VK Singh, were present at the ceremony.

This strategic initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing accessibility for devotees and tourists aspiring to visit the historic city.

Since the opening of the Ram Mandir on 22 January 2024, Ayodhya has witnessed an overwhelming influx of devotees, with lakhs thronging the temple daily. In response to this surge in demand, SpiceJet’s new direct flight service aims to enhance the accessibility of the revered town, catering to the needs of devotees and tourists seeking a visit to the new temple.

The direct flights to Ayodhya have been initiated from Darbhanga, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Patna, Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The commencement of these non-stop flight services would not only bolster tourism but also significantly elevate connectivity from the newly launched Ayodhya Airport.

This remarkable initiative underscores the commitment of the authorities to promote Ayodhya as a key pilgrimage and tourist destination, ensuring that the city’s cultural and spiritual significance is accessible from various parts of the country.
