Grenada, Windward Islands: Open for Travel

2 days quarantine

Mandatory quarantine for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers must quarantine for at least 2 nights on arrival.

Details and Exemptions:They may apply for home quarantine, providing that all members of their traveling party have been fully vaccinated. Those traveling with minors do not qualify for a 48 hour home quarantine and must apply for a 7 day home quarantine.

COVID-19 test required

Proof of negative COVID-19 test results
All travelers, including those fully vaccinated, must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken from a certified lab taken a maximum of 72 hours (3 days) before departure to Grenada.

Travel authorization may be granted without uploading the negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test, however, travelers must check-in at the airport with confirmation of the negative COVID-19 PCR test result.

-Travelers under the age of 6.

Masks are mandatory in public
Travelers must wear masks in all public places.

Required Documents for your Trip

Mandatory accommodation booking for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to have a minimum of a 2-day reservation at an approved accommodation.

They may apply for a 48 hour home quarantine, providing that all members of their traveling party have been vaccinated. Parties traveling with minors do not qualify for a 48 hour home quarantine and must apply for a 7 day home quarantine.

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to present a valid vaccination certificate in English.

Travelers are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after receiving a second dose in a 2-dose series (AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Sinopharm, or Sinovac) or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen).

Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.

Details and Exemptions:Travelers 13 years of age and older traveling in a group where some are vaccinated and others are not, and choose not to separate, are treated as unvaccinated.

Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival
Fully vaccinated travelers must take a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival in Grenada.

Mandatory proof of payment for COVID-19 testing
All travelers must pay online for their post-arrival COVID-19 testing. This payment must be done before applying for travel authorization to Grenada.

Details and Exemptions:This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers under the age of 5, unless they have been in contact with a positive case.

Mandatory health insurance
Travelers must have travel medical insurance that covers COVID-19 related illness.

-Citizens and residents of Granada.

Mandatory Pure Safe Travel Certificate
Travelers are required to complete a travel authorization “Pure Safe Travel Certificate” and receive approval before departing to Grenada. Applications should be made a maximum of 7 days of travel, but no later than 2 days before travel to Grenada. Travelers must retain either a printed or electronic copy of the authorization to be shown at check-in. Each person should have their own authorization, including minors.

Details and Exemptions:With new Airport testing options, the travel authorization is granted without uploading the negative COVID-19 PCR test, however, travelers must check in at the airport with confirmation of the negative COVID-19 PCR test result.
