In a major stride towards enhancing connectivity and convenience for travellers from the city of Hyderabad, Air India Express is set to introduce direct flights to three new destinations, both domestic and international. As reported by Wego, the destinations include the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh, as well as two domestic destinations – Varanasi and Trivandrum.

Commencing direct flights to Riyadh

One of the highlights of this expansion is the introduction of direct flights between Hyderabad and Riyadh, with flights operating three times a week. This move aims to strengthen international connectivity from Hyderabad, one of the most highly-populated and modern cities in the nation.

Hyderabad – Riyadh

  • direct flights every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • departs Hyderabad at 12:05 PM and arrives in Riyadh at 3 PM

Riyadh – Hyderabad

  • direct flights every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • departs Riyadh at 4 PM and arrives in Hyderabad at 11 PM
  • prices starting at INR 7,317

Connecting two new domestic destinations

 

Starting from 25 January 2024, Air India Express will operate direct flights connecting Hyderabad to Trivandrum five times a week. The airline plans to escalate the frequency to a daily service from 1 March 2024.

Simultaneously, a new daily service to Varanasi will also be launched from 1 March 2024, opening up a crucial link between the bustling city of Hyderabad to the sacred lands of Varanasi.
