Air India Express to Begin Direct Surat-Dubai Flights on 17 December

In a significant development for connectivity between India and the Gulf, Air India Express is set to launch direct flights between Surat and Dubai. According to Wego’s reports, the inaugural flight on this route is scheduled to take off on 17 December. 

With this new route, Air India Express is offering passengers a convenient and efficient travel option for travellers from the state of Gujarat to Dubai, a market that has seen a rise in demand in the post-pandemic scenario. 

Air India Express has expressed its commitment towards uplifting the Indian flight experience with its new offerings. Passengers can indulge in the luxury of plush seats designed for maximum comfort throughout the journey. Air India Express’ signature Gourmair meals add a touch of culinary delight to the journey, ensuring that passengers are treated to a delectable in-flight dining experience.

The airline plans to service direct flights on the Surat-Dubai route 4 times a week. However, at the time of writing, they are yet to announce detailed schedules for flights. As of now, only the inaugural flight on 17 December has been announced, with the airline intending to announce further schedules in due course of time.

• departing Surat at 11:40 AM and arriving in Dubai at 1:30 PM
• prices start at INR 10,611 and extend till INR 21,722, across four different classes.

Dubai – Surat

• flight number: IX 174
• departing Dubai at 2:30 PM and arriving in Surat at 7 PM
• prices start at INR 10,640 and extend to INR 22,666, across four different classes.
