As countries head towards normalcy, Bahrain has also stepped towards easing its Covid-19 related measures by scrapping a PCR test on arrival, as well as its quarantine requirements, for all passengers, regardless of their vaccination status.

PCR testing requirements in Bahrain
All passengers, regardless of their vaccination status, landing in the Kingdom of Bahrain as their final destination do not need to present a negative PCR test certificate before boarding the plane.
Additionally, as announced by Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA), all passengers arriving through Bahrain International Airport, regardless of their vaccination status, do not need to conduct a PCR test on arrival.

Testing in quarantine
Precautionary quarantine requirements for all passengers arriving in the Kingdom of Bahrain has also been scrapped. Therefore, all passengers arriving in Bahrain, regardless of their vaccination status are not required to undergo quarantine upon arrival.
Additionally, it was also announced that people in contact with active cases, including those who do not hold a green pass on the kingdom’s BeAware Bahrain App app, no longer have to undergo a precautionary period of isolation. Testing will only be conducted for individuals experiencing any Covid-19 related symptoms.
