Travelers are not allowed to enter Madagascar. Commercial flights have been suspended.
Details and Exemptions:Entry restrictions do not apply to:
-Malagasy citizens;

Quarantine is required
Mandatory quarantine
Travelers are required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on arrival at the airport, and to quarantine at a designated hotel on arrival for a maximum of 2 nights until they receive the results.
If the test is negative, travelers will be allowed to end quarantine.
If the test is positive they are required to quarantine for 14 days at their own cost.

COVID-19 test required
Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers are required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on arrival at the airport, and to quarantine until the test result is received. If the test is positive, travelers will be required to quarantine for 14 days. If the test is negative, travelers can continue with their trip. Travelers are required to cover expenses for test on arrival and quarantine.

Mandatory accommodation booking
Travelers are required to have proof of a reservation certificate for 2 nights and payment for a hotel room for at least 1 night for confinement before departure to Madagascar.

Proof of negative COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before boarding.
