According to various sources, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony of Pakistan has finalized all arrangements for the Hajj 2024 flight operation, set to commence on 9 May 2024. The flights for this operation will be departing from eight major airports across the country, as reported by Wego. The Ministry’s preparations include all necessary measures for the pilgrimage flights, ensuring a smooth journey for the pilgrims.

Four airlines, namely Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudi Airlines, AirBlue, and Serene Air, will be participating in the operation. These airlines will facilitate the journey for the pilgrims from eight major airports across the country, including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, and Faisalabad.

The Ministry has mandated that all pilgrims receive their vaccinations ten days prior to their scheduled Hajj flights at designated Hajj Camps. This measure is part of the government’s efforts to ensure the health and safety of the pilgrims during their spiritual journey.

In addition, all intending pilgrims are required to carry smartphones to access useful mobile applications during their Hajj expedition. This initiative is seen as a step towards modernizing the pilgrimage experience and providing pilgrims with the necessary resources for a successful journey.
