Dubai to Oman travel guidelines

Travellers with valid visas, Omani citizens and residents with valid residency permits can enter the Sultanate without prior approval.

Passengers who have received two doses of any COVID-19 vaccine approved in Oman are allowed to enter the Sultanate of Oman without presenting a PCR test result, taking into consideration that the second dose must have been taken at least 14 days prior to the date of travel.

Unvaccinated travellers to Oman (18 and above) will be required to present a negative PCR test taken at most 96 hours before arrival (if arriving on a flight that takes 8 hours or more). Or submit a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before arrival (if arriving on a flight that takes less than 8 hours). Vaccine certificates and PCR tests must contain a QR code or be approved by the authorities in the country of departure.

Unvaccinated travellers should undergo institutional quarantine for 7 days and take a PCR test on day 8. RT-PCR tests can be booked at the traveller’s convenience on the eMushrif online platform.
