Terminal 1

Terminal 1 at Jeddah Airport is divided into separate sections for domestic and international flights, each equipped with check-in facilities and boarding areas. Covering an area of 28,000 square meters, Terminal 1 houses 120 shops. With plans to accommodate 80 million passengers by 2035, Jeddah Airport Terminal 1 aims to become one of the busiest airports in the Middle East and the Gulf region.

North terminal 

The Jeddah Airport North terminal serves as the main hub for international airlines and can accommodate an additional 20 airlines that operate specifically during the Hajj and Umrah seasons.

The terminal provides various amenities, including a barber shop, restrooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, mobile chargers, luggage storage, a post office, prayer halls, a mosque, food and drink options, a market, banking services, currency exchange, duty-free shops, public telephones, a medical clinic, and first-aid services. South terminal 

The South terminal at Jeddah Airport has been closed, and all flights are now being handled exclusively from Terminal 1. 

Hajj terminal

The Jeddah Airport Hajj terminal is a massive complex catering to pilgrims traveling to Mecca and Umrah each year. It serves as the Makka Air Gate and is one of the world’s largest airport terminals. The terminal is self-contained, providing check-in areas, a baggage handling system, health services, public transportation facilities, and various amenities. It also accommodates Hajj agents who assist the pilgrims during their journey.

Comprising five tents and buildings labeled A, B, J, D, and H, the complex features 15 domes connected to aircraft through boarding gates. Covering an expansive area of 465,000 square meters, these locations are separated by a 160-meter wide road. Within the complex, there’s a wide range of services available, including a mosque, restaurant areas, snack shops, retail stores, prayer areas, banks, currency exchange, a post office, telephones, restrooms, airline information counters, a medical clinic, and first-aid services.

Jeddah Airport terminal transfer 

Currently, there is no dedicated means of transportation available for inter-terminal transfers. Due to the significant distance between terminals, passengers are advised to utilize taxi services for transportation.
