Terminal 1

Terminal 1, inaugurated in 1985, is the original terminal and situated on the airport’s southern side, opposite Terminal 2. It consists of three sub-terminals, each featuring 25 check-in counters, 5 baggage carousels, and 7 gates, with a capacity to accommodate up to 9 million passengers annually.

Terminal 3

In 2016, a new passenger terminal named ‘Terminal 3 Ultimate’ was opened, integrating the original Terminal 3 and expanding to handle 25 million passengers annually with a modern eco-friendly design and extensive facilities.

The terminal’s upgrades include additional aerobridges catering to different aircraft types, advanced security systems, water recycling systems, and enhanced illumination control. Terminal 3 now accommodates 60 airplanes, up from the previous 40.

Golf course

The Soekarno–Hatta International Airport features a golf course managed by the Cengkareng Golf Club, which has been operational since 1999. Situated on the left side of the airport main gate near the Sheraton Bandara Hotel, this golf course is part of the 102-hectare (250-acre) Soewarna Business Park within the airport premises.

In both 2005 and 2008, the golf course hosted the Indonesia Open as part of the PGA European Tour.

Airport hotel

Soekarno–Hatta International Airport features the Bandara International Hotel, managed by AccorHotels. This hotel is situated on the left side of the main exit road from the airport and spans four floors with 220 guest rooms. Additionally, the airport offers a variety of other hotels, including budget options like Ibis Styles, Pop! Hotels, Swiss-Belhotel, Orchard Hotel, Swiss-Belinn, Ibis Budget, and Amaris.

Terminal 3 of the airport is home to a Digital Airport Hotel or Capsule hotel offering 120 rooms, including Alpha-type and Beta-type rooms.


There are four airport lounges in the departure area catering to various airlines and passenger classes.

To address overcrowding in smoking rooms, airport authorities have initiated plans to construct a smoking area within a garden near the rest area in Terminal 1A. This facility, inaugurated in January 2015, may be extended to other terminals as needed.
