Tourist visa

The tourist visa can either grant single or multiple entries and is valid for 60 days, depending on the specific visa you obtain.
Tourist visa (single entry, 30 days)
- Valid for 60 days, with a stay of 30 days
- Extension possible twice for 30 days each
- Price: AED 510 (AED 1,110 per extension)
Tourist visa (multiple entry, 30 days)
- Valid for 60 days, with a stay of 30 days
- Extension possible twice for 30 days each
- Price: AED 610 (AED 1,110 per extension)
Long-term tourist visa (single entry, 60 days)
- Valid for 60 days, with a stay of 60 days
- Extension possible twice for 30 days each
- Price: AED 830 (AED 1,110 per extension)
Transit visa
Travelers transiting through the Abu Dhabi International Airport and traveling onward to a third destination are required to apply for a UAE transit visa, depending on the period of their stay. Read this article to understand more about it:
Transit visa (single entry, 48 hours)
- For transit period between 8 to 48 hours
- A maximum of 48 hours stay and is valid for entry within 30 days of issuance
- Not extendable

Transit visa (single entry, 96 hours)
- For transit period between 8 to 96 hours
- A maximum of 96 hours stay and is valid for entry within 30 days of issuance
- Not extendable

Visit visa
A visit visa can be issued for travelers who wish to visit the UAE multiple times within a two-month period.
Long-term visit visa (multiple entry, 60 days)
- Valid for 60 days, with a stay of 60 days
- Extension possible twice for 30 days each
- Price: AED 1560 (AED 1,110 per extension)
How to apply for the UAE visa Etihad?
Requirements
Given below is a list of requirements for the tourist and transit visas applied through the Etihad Airways website:
- Completed application form
- A 6x6cm photograph in color (minimum of 600×600 pixels) with a white background (at least 80% of your face should be visible)
- Color copy of your passport showing your full name, nationality, date and place of birth, passport number, date of issue and expiry, name of father/legal guardian, and the name of your mother
- Valid passport with at least 6 months validity at the time of travel
- Confirmed return and onward ticket
Depending on the applicant’s nationality, they may be requested to provide additional documents supporting their visa application. If these documents cannot be provided, the visa application may be rejected.
Children
In addition to the general requirements mentioned above, travelers must submit a birth certificate for their children in English or Arabic. The translated documents should be attested on the front page.
Dependents
Dependents are defined as spouses, children below 18, and parents above 60. The dependents must submit supporting documents that prove the status of their relationship, for instance, a marriage or birth certificate.
Minors (under 18 years old)
For minors, including married females under the age of 18:
- A photo ID of the child’s parent or guardian is required
- A copy of the sponsoring parent’s tourist visa issued by Etihad Airways must be presented
- The airline reserves the right to determine sponsorship eligibility
- Children under 18 and students cannot travel alone
- Only machine-readable passports are accepted
Please note that the documents must be submitted in JPEG format only and must not exceed a size of 1 MB.
