This new Mumbai-Melbourne route further enhances seamless two-way connectivity between Heathrow, London, and Melbourne through these key Indian cities.
Air India is set to operate flights on the Mumbai-Melbourne route using its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, featuring 18 flat beds in Business Class and 238 spacious seats. This ensures a comfortable and enjoyable journey for passengers of all classes.
The Mumbai-Melbourne route is a game-changer, adding nearly 40,000 seats annually to the Australian state of Victoria. This region boasts a significant Indian community, estimated at over 200,000 individuals, constituting approximately 40 percent of the total Indian diaspora in Australia.
