What is Dubai.AI?

Dubai.AI has been established in partnership with the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), along with the collaborative efforts of various government entities within the emirate. The platform ensures the inclusion of precise information and services from credible government and private sources, available readily to the public.

Moreover, the platform can be accessed by users of all categories – including citizens, residents, visitors, and business owners.

Dubai.AI objectives & functions

With the primary objective to serve as an all-encompassing, interactive hub for information, consistently enriched with data sourced directly from official channels, spanning every facet of the city, the platform will be able to provide information across 15 sectors, such as health, education including schools, institutes, and universities, tourist destinations, restaurants, and transportation.

Furthermore, the Dubai.AI platform will function as a personalized digital assistant, harnessing the capabilities of generative AI to provide real-time responses to user queries, complete with a personalized and interactive dialogue-based approach. This cultivates a distinctive one-on-one engagement with users, making them feel that the information and support they receive are tailored to their specific needs.

Dubai.AI launch

The Dubai.AI platform was officially unveiled during the inaugural day of the Dubai Assembly for Generative AI, a two-day event organized by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF). This event was hosted at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 in Emirates Towers, Dubai, and enjoyed the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai.

The launch of the platform was presided over by Matar Al Hemeiri, the Chief Executive of the Digital Dubai Government Establishment. He emphasized that the Dubai.AI platform represents an innovative initiative aimed at delivering user-friendly experiences accessible from anywhere, at any time. The platform’s primary objective is to enhance the digital quality of life within the emirate through the implementation of advanced technologies like generative artificial intelligence.

Saeed Al Falasi, the Director of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, also graced the occasion with his presence. He underscored that the introduction of the Dubai.AI platform is in alignment with the leadership’s vision to foster government collaborations and introduce inventive solutions employing state-of-the-art technologies to address both present and future needs across critical sectors and services in the community.

How to access Dubai.AI?

Digital Dubai is working towards making the Dubai.AI platform available through all government websites and applications. However, as of now, the Dubai.AI platform is now live and can be accessed in the two following ways:

  • Visit the official website of the Emirate of Dubai, and towards the bottom right corner, you will find the Dubai.AI logo. Click on the logo to launch the platform, and you will be able to ask your queries.
  • Download the DubaiNow mobile application, available for both iOS and Android users. 

Digital Dubai initiative

Established in 2021, Digital Dubai holds the responsibility of formulating and overseeing policies and strategies governing information technology, data management, digital transformation, and cybersecurity within the emirate. This entity amalgamates the capabilities of four organizations: the Dubai Electronic Security Centre, Dubai Statistics Centre, Dubai Data Establishment, and Smart Dubai Government Establishment.

Since its inception, Digital Dubai has collaborated with both government and private sector entities to introduce more than 130 initiatives. Notable initiatives encompass the Dubai Data Initiative, Dubai Blockchain Strategy, Happiness Agenda, Dubai AI Roadmap, and the Dubai Paperless Strategy.
