What is Dubai.AI?
Dubai.AI has been established in partnership with the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), along with the collaborative efforts of various government entities within the emirate. The platform ensures the inclusion of precise information and services from credible government and private sources, available readily to the public.
Moreover, the platform can be accessed by users of all categories – including citizens, residents, visitors, and business owners.
Dubai.AI objectives & functions
With the primary objective to serve as an all-encompassing, interactive hub for information, consistently enriched with data sourced directly from official channels, spanning every facet of the city, the platform will be able to provide information across 15 sectors, such as health, education including schools, institutes, and universities, tourist destinations, restaurants, and transportation.
Furthermore, the Dubai.AI platform will function as a personalized digital assistant, harnessing the capabilities of generative AI to provide real-time responses to user queries, complete with a personalized and interactive dialogue-based approach. This cultivates a distinctive one-on-one engagement with users, making them feel that the information and support they receive are tailored to their specific needs.
The Dubai.AI platform was officially unveiled during the inaugural day of the Dubai Assembly for Generative AI, a two-day event organized by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF). This event was hosted at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 in Emirates Towers, Dubai, and enjoyed the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai.
The launch of the platform was presided over by Matar Al Hemeiri, the Chief Executive of the Digital Dubai Government Establishment. He emphasized that the Dubai.AI platform represents an innovative initiative aimed at delivering user-friendly experiences accessible from anywhere, at any time. The platform’s primary objective is to enhance the digital quality of life within the emirate through the implementation of advanced technologies like generative artificial intelligence.
Saeed Al Falasi, the Director of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, also graced the occasion with his presence. He underscored that the introduction of the Dubai.AI platform is in alignment with the leadership’s vision to foster government collaborations and introduce inventive solutions employing state-of-the-art technologies to address both present and future needs across critical sectors and services in the community.
