KSA Visa is Saudi Arabia’s unified national visa platform, run by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It brings the entire visa journey — searching, applying, paying and tracking — into a single online destination at ksavisa.sa.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched the platform at the Digital Government Forum in Riyadh on 19 December 2023, as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 digital-transformation push. It currently operates as a beta version.

The platform works as a smart search engine that returns quick information on available visas. It also explains visa requirements and walks applicants through each step of the process.

What are the KSA Visa platform’s features?

The platform offers a step-by-step interface that guides applicants through the process. It sets out the different visa types, eligibility criteria and required documents in one place.

Each visitor gets a personal profile that stores their details, making repeat applications faster. Payments are handled online, removing the need for manual transactions.

Behind the scenes, KSA Visa connects more than 30 government ministries, authorities and private-sector entities, automating visa issuance and improving the visitor experience.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the platform can issue eligible visas in as little as 60 seconds, compared with the previous processing time of around 48 hours.
