Taxi

Luxury airport taxis with professional drivers are present in every terminal of the Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH). These 24-hour metered taxis offer passengers transport services to reach their final destination when arriving at the airport.

For travellers arriving at Terminals 1 or 3

Travellers will find the signposted taxi pick-up area at the lower curbside outside the Arrivals Hall for Terminals 1 and 3.

The metred Toyota Camry taxis are available outside the Terminal 2 Arrivals area.

  • metre starting fare (flag fall)  – AED 25
  • every 1 km up to 50 km, from 6 AM to 10 PM – AED 1.6
  • every 1 km up to 50 km, from 10 PM to 6 AM – AED 1.69
  • every 1 km over 50 km – 9 fils extra
  • every 1 minute of waiting time, with the first 5 minutes free – 50 fils

Please note that if the passenger is a holder of a discount card from the UAE Ministry of Social Affairs, they will receive a reduction of 25 percent to 50 percent on their taxi fare.

Airport express 24/7

The Airport express 24/7 service is a new hourly express shuttle bus service between Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai and Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Passengers can follow the steps given below to avail of this shuttle bus service:

  • after landing at the Abu Dhabi International Airport, go through customs.
  • buy your express tickets from the bus counter at the Arrivals Hall.
  • get on the shuttle bus to reach the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai.

Etihad chauffeur and coach

Etihad Airways offers a chauffeur service for passengers travelling in the airline’s first or business class for departure and arrival transfers anywhere in the UAE. The service can be requested online up to 24 hours prior to the traveller’s flight.
