The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), led by Ahmed Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors, has announced the return of the much-anticipated Jeddah Season as part of its summer initiative for 2024, “Saudi Summer is Next Door,” Wego reports.

As per the Saudi Press Agency, the Jeddah Season, a key component of the four-month program, promises a rich tapestry of cultural experiences and thrilling events. From captivating exhibitions to adrenaline-pumping performances, the return of the Jeddah Season offers an enticing array of attractions for visitors to explore.

The launch event, attended by World Tourism Organization Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili and over 250 key strategic partners, underscored the collaborative effort invested in making the Saudi Summer Program 2024 a success. The program spans seven diverse destinations, including Aseer, Al Baha, Taif, the Red Sea (a new addition), Riyadh, and AlUla, with the return of the Jeddah Season at its heart.

CEO Fahd Hamidaddin highlighted the program’s commitment to showcasing Saudi Arabia’s cultural, natural, and climatic diversity. Notable events include the groundbreaking Esports World Cup in Riyadh and multiple boxing tournaments in Riyadh and Jeddah, all adding to the immersive journey through the kingdom’s rich tapestry of experiences.
