Jeddah Season 2022 dates

Jeddah Season 2022 kicked off on 2 May 2022 and after running till 30 June 2022, has now concluded after 60 days of exciting shows, programs, and activities that took place in nine zones and event sites.

The event, this year, saw more than six million domestic and international tourists, representing 129 countries.

The season returned following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the Kingdom to suspend public events in the interests of public safety.

What to expect from the Jeddah Season 2022?

Under the slogan “Our lovely days,” the Jeddah Season 2022 will offer a packed schedule of 2,800 events reflecting Jeddah’s rich culture and heritage, as well as its growing status as a major regional tourist destination. Furthermore, the program took inspiration from the city’s coastal identity.

The Jeddah Season 2022 featured firework displays, every night, at the Jeddah Art Promenade, mind-blowing K-pop performances, a science festival, and a performance by Cirque du Soleil Fuzion tailored exclusively for Jeddah Season 2022, which is going to run for a month. The Jeddah Jungle Zone features the Kingdom’s biggest zoo, while the City Walk zone will host a major comic-con event for anime fans, and also Prince Majid Park that allows you to enjoy a variety of entertainment and experiences such as live shows, cultural shows, horror house, and also kids playground.

A range of new restaurants and cafes, and amusement parks were on display at the Jeddah Season 2022. Moreover, as stated by authorities, the Jeddah Season 2022 created around 74,000 job opportunities for Saudi citizens.

To help visitors better navigate the busy schedule, Jeddah Season is made up of nine zones, including Jeddah’s Superdome, Al-Jawhara Stadium, Jeddah Jungle, Jeddah Yacht Club, Jeddah Art Promenade, Jeddah Pier, Prince Majid Park, City Walk and Al-Balad, designated to host various events.

City Walk

City Walk is one of Jeddah Season’s largest locations, with the most unique experiences. It includes nine main sub-zones that present a fully integrated experience, where every visitor can seek things they indulge, whether it’s calmness and meditation, excitement and running, delicious cuisines and cafes, or simply strolling and basking in the glow of the crowd. Every subzone has its own unique shows, events, and adventures.

Jeddah Art Promenade

Visit the Jeddah Art Promenade, which is Saudi’s newest globally curated public-art destination. Apart from restaurants, cafes and a shopping area, the beachfront avenue also features various live shows, daily fireworks and a viewing tower where you can watch the whole promenade from 80 meters high!

Every Saturday, Jeddah Art Promenade will host an event called Souk Al-Sabt where all artists are encouraged to showcase their works. Not only arts, but there are also handmade goods and delectable homemade foods from the local food vendors where all visitors can enjoy.
