Kuwait, the bustling gulf metropolis with towering skyscrapers, rich with culture and energised by modern wealth, is slowly and successfully reeling out of the pandemic and has relaxed most of its stringent quarantine measurements.

Who can travel to Kuwait?

Testing and vaccination are no longer mandatory for entering Kuwait.

However, complete registration in Shlonik application is mandatory. This does not apply to;

    1. ​Minors below 16 years old.
    2. Fully vaccinated traveller​s.

Quarantine guidelines in Kuwait

For travellers

​All unvaccinated passengers shall undergo 7 days home quarantine. Partially immunized can end the quarantine by performing a RT PCR on arrival at passenger own expense and non- immunized traveler can end quarantine on day 7 only by performing RT PCR. This does not apply to;

    1. ​Minors below 16 years old.
    2. Fully vaccinated traveller​s.

For patients

The quarantine restrictions imposed on people exposed to others with COVID-19 have been scrapped, but they will be required to take a PCR test within 14 days of exposure, and wear a mask for 14 days.

The Kuwaiti cabinet also ruled that patients should home quarantine for five days and after that wear face masks for a further five days.
