– The travel date of the new booking can fall on any date within the published flight schedule on AirAsia.

Reschedule policy
For booking made on/before 22 March 2020 with travel date between 23 March and 31 May 2020:
– You can change your flight date without additional charges for unlimited times to any date before 31 October 2020.
– The change is subject to seat availability.

Cancellation policy
For travel date between 23 March 2020 and 30 April 2020:
– If your flight is cancelled, you need not call Air India or your Travel Agent. You don’t even have to report to airport for rescheduling of the flight.
– No show charges will be waived and your ticket will be protected at full unutilised value.

Reschedule policy
For travel date between 23 March 2020 and 30 April 2020:
– Based on the validity of your ticket, you can reschedule your travel without paying any date change or sector change fees.
– If the residual validity of tickets/fare at the time is less than 6 months, booking can be made until 30 September 2020. Fare difference is applicable.
– If the residual validity of tickets/fare at the time is more than 6 months, booking can be made until 31 March 2021. Fare difference is applicable.

For cancelled flight from the date 15 March 2020 to 14 April 2020 due to COVID-19:

– All change fees will be waived.
– If you want to rebook to the same destination for travel departing before 31 May 2020, no difference in fare applied

– If you are unsure of the travel date or would like to change your destination, you may cancel without a fee and use your credit to book a new flight at a later date.
– New ticket must be re-issued on/before 31 December 2020.

– You are eligible for a refund in the form of travel credit equal to the value of the fare paid for your cancelled flight. This credit is valid for 1 year.
– If you do not wish to accept the credit and would like to apply for a refund, you must visit the airline’s refund page and complete an online form.

For travel date from 4 April 2020 up to 15 April 2020:
– You are eligible for a refund in the form of credit of the fare paid which you can use towards future travel.
– This credit is valid until 31 December 2020.
– Requests received within three (3) hours of your scheduled departure time will not be processed and no credit will be given.

Reschedule policy (domestic passengers)
For travel date from 4 April 2020 up to 15 April 2020:
– Reschedule fees will be waived for all travel up to and including 15th April 2020. Fare difference may apply.
– Changes may be made up to 90 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

Cancellation policy (International passengers)
Passengers affected by travel entry ban mandated by the government will be eligible for a refund.
– Your refund will only be considered if you attach a copy of your visa or international flight booking to prove eligibility.
– Refund requests must be received by the airline at least 6 hours before the departure time of your flight. Requests received after this time will not be processed and no refund or credit will be given.
– Refunds will be processed only for the fare and any services not received, booking and other fees are non-refundable.

Passengers from GCC countries who have been affected by this restriction will be eligible for a refund in the form of credit.
– To claim your credit you’ll need to complete the airlines form at least 3 hours before your departure time, with all details, including a copy of GCC ID and inbound flight into Saudi Arabia.
– Requests received after this time will not be processed and no credit will be given.

Cancellation policy
For ticket issued on/before 15 March 2020 with travel dates from 24 January 2020 and 31 May 2020:
– You are eligible for a refund in the form of voucher.
– Voucher is valid until 31 March 2021. The voucher can be utilized for Garuda Indonesia flight or other Garuda Indonesia products.

Reschedule policy
For ticket issued on/before 15 March 2020 with travel dates from 24 January 2020 and 31 May 2020:
– If you want to reschedule to another date, you can do so without any additional charge for one time change. This change applies only to the same route and same cabin of flight (regardless of the fare class) to dates outside blackout period until 31 March 2021. If the new travel dates fall on blackout period, fare differences and taxes apply.
– If you want to reroute to a new destination, you can do so without any additional charge. This applies to a flight of equal or lesser value.
– If you haven’t decided on a new itinerary, you may extend your ticket validity until 31 March 2021. The extended ticket is allowed to be changed one time (by rescheduling/rerouting) with the new travel period until 31 March 2021.
– For code-share flights with other airline, rescheduling must be to the same fare-class. For a different fare-class, there will be additional charge

For passengers that are denied check-in on Malaysia Airlines flight if they do not meet the country’s travel restrictions:
Cancellation and service fees are waived for partially used and totally unused tickets.
– Full refund will be permitted and credited to original form of payment (FOP) or retain current ticket value as a credit (EMD) for future travel. This applies for refundable and non-refundable tickets.

Reschedule policy

For passengers that are denied check-in on Malaysia Airlines flight if they do not meet the country’s travel restrictions:
– One-time fare difference will be waived for deferred/new travel date.
– If there is subsequent changes in travel date, fare difference will apply.
– New travel needs to be completed by 31 December 2020 based on seat availability.

For booking made on or before 31 Mar 2020:
– You can enjoy free unlimited date change and destination change.
– Difference in fare for first rebooking will be waived if rebooked in same/original RBD. For any subsequent changes in travel date, the fares will be reassessed.
– Rebooked travel date must be on/before 31 December 2020, based on seat availability.
– For original tickets expiring before 31 December 2020 and no rebooking has been made, the original ticket will *automatically be converted to ticket voucher which is valid until 31 December 2020.
– Request for rebooking must be made on/before 31 June 2020.
