The cost of a Pakistani passport depends on its type, number of pages, validity period, and delivery method. Please note that new and renewal passport fees are identical in 2024.
The following table lists the latest passport fees as per the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports Pakistan. Please remember that these prices do not include service charges, which are PKR 1,000 for in-land applications and PKR 2,500 for overseas applications.

Regular passport
The regular Pakistani passport is machine-readable and has a validity period of 5 or 10 years, with a processing time of 21 working days. The urgent passport is the same and is issued more quickly (5 working days) than a regular passport, but it comes with a higher fee.

For Pakistan passport fees online payment, you can make your payment through the Passport Fee Asaan, a digital initiative aimed at facilitating the people of Pakistan. This initiative is brought to you by the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports under the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan.
The Passport Fee Asaan app is designed to streamline the passport fee calculation and payment process, ensuring a hassle-free experience for users. Here’s how you can easily pay your passport fee online in just three simple steps:
- Begin by creating your Payment Slip ID (PSID) through the Fee Asaan mobile app, available on Google Play or the Apple Store, as well as via the web application
- Once you have your PSID, you can proceed with making the payment. You have multiple options, including internet banking, ATM, Easypaisa, or Jazz cash, all conveniently accessible through the 1-bill option
- Enter “999999” before your generated PSID to retrieve and pay your passport fee.
After completing these three steps, you are ready to visit your nearest passport office to process your passport application.
