As of 1 May 2025, Thailand has officially enforced the use of the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) to replace the long-standing paper-based TM.6 immigration form, Wego reports. The Immigration Bureau announced that all foreign visitors entering the country must now register online before arrival.

Travelers are required to submit their information online at www.tdac.immigration.go.th, with the form available for submission up to three days before arrival. The process involves entering personal and travel details, submitting the form, and presenting the emailed confirmation to immigration officers upon entry. The TDAC platform supports five languages—English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Japanese—to streamline access for a broad range of tourists.
According to Natthriya Thaweevong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the rollout saw strong adoption, with 90% of foreigners arriving on the first day successfully registering via the TDAC system. Officials credit an extensive awareness campaign across airports and consular offices for the high compliance rate.
The government claims the TDAC initiative will reduce processing time at immigration checkpoints, improve data accuracy, and strengthen border control. Authorities are encouraging travelers to register early and ensure all submitted information matches their travel documents to avoid delays upon arrival
