Egypt visa on arrival requirements

To obtain an Egypt tourist visa on arrival, a traveller must satisfy the following requirements:

  • a valid passport for at least 6 months
  • passport with at least 1 blank page
  • pay the visa-on-arrival fee (USD 25) in cash

Visitors seeking a visa on arrival can do so at immigration kiosks located in Egypt’s international airports as follows:

Egypt visa on arrival fee

The visa fee for a visa on arrival is USD 25. Travellers can only pay this amount in cash in either USD, EUR, or GBP. No other currency is accepted for the visa fees. You cannot use a debit card or a credit card to make the payment at the immigration counters.

Egypt’s visa on arrival grants travellers a single-entry visa with a validity of up to 30 days.
