As of now, RTA runs three bus routes, namely bus E100, E101 and E102, from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, departing from the two main Dubai stations, including:

bus E100: The bus operates from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, situated in Bur Dubai, which is conveniently accessible from Dubai Creek and Deira.
bus E101: The bus operates from Ibn Battuta Bus Station, adjacent to Ibn Battuta Mall, which is more accessible for those in the modern area of Dubai, for instance, Dubai Marina.
bus E102: The bus operates from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Mussafah Shabiya Bus Station in Abu Dhabi. Moreover, bus E102 also stops at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Bus E100

RTA’s bus E100 operates from the Al Ghubaiba Bus Station in Dubai to the Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station seven days a week from 4:20 AM. The bus runs approximately every 30 minutes.

Please note that the duration of the journey is approximately between 2.15 to 3 hours.

Bus E101

RTA’s bus E101 operates from the Ibn Battuta Bus Station in Dubai to the Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station from Monday to Sunday, approximately every 20 minutes.

Please note that the duration of the journey is approximately between 1.5 to 2 hours.

Bus E102

RTA’s bus E102 operates from the Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Mussafah Shabiya Bus Station in Abu Dhabi seven days a week, approximately every hour.

Bus E102

RTA’s bus E102 has an additional stop from Ibn Battuta Bus Station in Dubai to the Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH). The bus stops at Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

Airport express 24/7

Travellers intending to reach the Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) from Dubai can use the airport’s Airport express 24/7 service, a new hourly express shuttle bus service between Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai and Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi Yas Island

Yas island offers complimentary shuttle bus services for its guests between Dubai and the theme park. Guests must present their Yas Island E-tickets or Vouchers to board the bus. Shuttle bus operates on the first come first serve basis, no prior reservation required. Complimentary WIFI available in the buses. The shuttle service is available from the following locations in Dubai:

Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel, Dubai
Deira City Center – Entrance Beside Majid Al Futaim Tower 1

Bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi price

The ticket price for buses from Dubai to Abu Dhabi is around AED 25 ($6.80 or €5.75). The fare is the same regardless of which bus you take.

Please note that to take the bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, you need the Nol Card, a contactless card used to pay for public transportation in Dubai. It can be purchased and recharged at any bus station or Dubai Metro station.
