Indonesia e-visa types
Foreign visitors to Indonesia can choose from two different categories of tourist e-visa based on the duration of their planned visit to the country.

Indonesia e-visa on arrival (B213)
With this particular visa, visitors are permitted to stay in the country for a maximum of 30 days. This visa can be extended for an additional 30 days, but it cannot be converted into any other visa category.

Indonesia tourism single-entry e-visa (211A)
The tourist visit e-visa 211A is an ideal option for individuals seeking a long-term visa to explore Indonesia for tourism. Initially granted for 60 days, it can be extended twice, each extension granting an additional 60 days, enabling a maximum stay of 180 days in Indonesia.
Indonesia e-visa eligibility
To be able to apply for an Indonesia e-visa, you must:
- visit family or friends.
- tour Indonesia for leisure, business, government business, purchasing goods, meetings, or transit.
- attend meetings as a speaker.
- have a sponsor who meets eligibility criteria.
- stay in Indonesia solely for visitation purposes.
- demonstrate financial sufficiency for your stay in Indonesia.
- adhere to all visa requirements and Indonesian laws.
you must not:
- violate your stay permit in Indonesia by engaging in prohibited activities, failing to comply with visa conditions, or breaking Indonesian laws may lead to fines, deportation, or legal action.
- sell goods or services.
- receive rewards, wages, or similar payments from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
Eligible countries
The Indonesia e-visa is available for citizens of over 100 countries. To verify your eligibility based on your nationality, you can visit the Molina website and input your country of origin.
Indonesia e-visa application
Should you be interested in applying for an Indonesian e-visa, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the necessary documents and understand the application process. Please find the details outlined below for your convenience.
Required documents
The Indonesian government imposes distinct document requirements for each visa category. It is essential to ensure that you have gathered the necessary documents according to the specific visa type you are applying for.
The Indonesian government now requires all international travelers to complete the “SATUSEHAT Health Pass” (SSHP) to prevent the spread of the Mpox virus. To fill out this electronic health declaration, visit sshp.kemkes.go.id or scan the provided QR code, choose your language, complete the form, and submit it. A QR code will be generated, which you must present upon arrival in Indonesia.
Indonesia e-visa on arrival (B213)
Upon arrival at the entry port, you must be able to present the following documents:
- passport with a validity of a minimum of 6 months
- return/onward flight ticket
Indonesia tourism single-entry e-visa (211A)
The application process for this particular e-visa necessitates the submission of several documents. Please review the list below:
- a passport valid for at least 6 months (for holders of travel documents other than passports, such as emergency passports or documents of identity, the validity must be 12 months).
- original visa application form.
- two recent color passport photos.
- valid residence permit and proof of residence.
- roundtrip, outbound, or connecting ticket (within 180 days).
- for tourism purposes: Hotel booking for a minimum of two nights or an invitation letter from an Indonesian sponsor (private individual) along with a copy of KTP (Indonesian national identity card).
- for family or friend visit purposes: Sponsor letter from an Indonesian sponsor (legal entity), including proof of business registration (No. SIUP/NIB) and Tax ID (NPWP).
- proof of sufficient funds amounting to at least €2,000 (two thousand Euros) or equivalent.
- proof of international health insurance.
Application process
The application procedures for the two types of e-visa vary slightly. Please refer to the steps outlined below for each category.
Indonesia e-visa on arrival (B213)
- visit the Molina website
- choose the type of the visa
- fill in the information
- submit the required documents
- pay the fee
Upon completion of the payment process, you will receive your e-VOA confirmation. Please print this out and present it to the immigration officer at the entry port to receive your visa sticker.
Indonesia tourism single-entry e-visa (211A)
- visit the Molina website
- choose the type of the visa
- register an account
- input your details
- submit the required documents
- pay the fee
- receive the e-visa via email (if approved)
Indonesia e-visa cost
The rates for the Indonesia e-visa, categorized by type, are as follows:
- Indonesia e-visa on arrival: IDR 500,000 (approximately USD 33)
- Indonesia tourism single-entry e-visa: IDR 1,500,000 (approximately USD 100)
Indonesia e-visa validity
Please note that both the e-visa on arrival and the tourism single-entry e-visa have a validity period of 90 days from the date of issue. However, this should not be confused with the maximum duration of stay permitted, which is 30 days for the e-visa on arrival and 60 days for the tourism single-entry e-visa.

There are two possible ways to check the validity of your Indonesia e-visa:
Scan the QR codes
Direct your camera to the QR codes on your e-visa document and click the pop-up link to the immigration website. There, you will find all details related to your visa validity.
Accessing the immigration website
You can also directly visit the immigration website and input your application number (No. Permohonan). You can click ‘Submit’ and find the details of your visa afterward.
Indonesia e-visa extension
Foreign nationals have the opportunity to extend their e-visa on arrival for an extra 30 days through the Molina portal. By logging into your Molina account, you can conveniently follow the provided instructions to carry out the extension process.
Please be aware that this extension is only permissible once. To evade any penalties, it is crucial to exit the country prior to the expiry of the extended visa.
