It is important to note that UAE residents must depart Kyrgyzstan before the visa-free period ends. Otherwise, they will be subject to an overstay fine of KGS 10,000 (USD 114,39) to obtain an exit visa.

Kyrgyzstan visa on arrival for UAE residents

UAE residents who are not eligible for the aforementioned entry schemes to enter Kyrgyzstan must apply for an e-visa. The electronic visa can be used to enter the country through the following entry points:

General requirements

To apply for an e-visa, applicants must meet the following mandatory criteria:

  • possess a passport valid for at least six months
  • have an active email address
  • be a citizen of a country eligible to apply for a Kyrgyzstan e-visa
  • have a stable internet connection and a working device to fill out an online form and submit it
  • possess a credit card for payment
  • have a digital photo
  • have a travel itinerary or route plan in Kyrgyzstan
  • have a confirmed flight ticket
  • have proof of hotel booking

Online application process

The Kyrgyzstan e-visa application process is simple and straightforward. Applicants can follow these steps to obtain their e-visa:

  1. visit the Kyrgyzstan e-Visa portal
  2. click “Apply for a visa”
  3. fill out the necessary information
  4. pay the fee
  5. receive the visa via email

It is worth noting that it takes around three working days to get a Kyrgyzstan e-visa issued. Applicants must ensure that they have received a successful payment confirmation.

Validity and fees

A Kyrgyzstan tourist visa is a single-entry visa that is valid for up to sixty days. There are currently two types of tourist visas available:

  • 1-month Kyrgyzstan tourist visa – costs KGS 4502.13 (USD 51.50)
  • 2-month Kyrgyzstan tourist visa – costs KGS 5402.56 (USD 61.80)
