Who Needs an Oman eVisa in 2026?
You only need an eVisa if your nationality is not on Oman’s visa-exemption list. Citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE can enter freely.

Group 2: Conditional 14-Day Visa-Free Entry
Indian, Egyptian, Jordanian, Moroccan, and Vietnamese passport holders qualify only if they meet extra conditions. The traveller must hold a valid visa or residence in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, or any Schengen country, or be a GCC resident in an approved profession.
The full Group 2 list also covers Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bhutan, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Maldives, Mauritania, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Tajikistan, Tunisia, and Turkmenistan.
Everyone Else Needs an eVisa

Types of Oman eVisa
The Royal Oman Police issues three main unsponsored tourist eVisas. Pick the one that matches the length and frequency of your trip.
Single-Entry Tourist eVisa
- 10-day version: One entry, stay of up to 10 days, non-extendable.
- 30-day version: One entry, stay of up to 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days.
Multiple-Entry Tourist eVisa

GCC Resident Tourist eVisa
This is the cheapest route for many UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar residents. It allows a single entry of up to 28 days and can be extended by one additional week.

The whole process happens online through the Royal Oman Police eVisa portal. You do not need to visit an embassy or use a third-party agent.
